Dr Venika Krishna is an Educator, and a Counseling Psychologist who is passionate about working for all young people ensuring their mental well-being and safety.

 

Counseling maybe considered as a ´´Talking therapy´´ and Venika initiates it with Person-Centered and empathetic approach which involves trust-building , remaining non-judgmental and giving positive-regard to the client. Ensuring complete confidentiality, she helps the client to gradually open up, shedding off his/her fears and insecurities and hence, disclosing underlying emotional complexes and conflicts.

Her Counseling approach includes understanding the academic, personal- social and career concerns of an individual and then providing guidance and counseling, accordingly.

 

She has worked for over more than a decade with adolescents and young adults belonging to diversified cultural backgrounds and different nationalities, on global platform. She, also, has experience of working in a community setup helping those at risk of being school drop-outs or getting socially excluded.
